This slender pottery male figure is standing on thin feet and dressed in a dress. The face of the figure is finely modelled. The shoulders have holes to hold the missing wooden arms. These arms were moveable, but with time the wooden arms became rotten. The figure was originally dressed with clothes, but just as the wooden arms, these decayed, leaving the figure naked. The figure has trails of the original red, black, white and pink pigment. These kinds of figures were found only around the capital Chang'an and were exclusively used by the royal family.
